To be fair to the refs, they're used to working women's basketball games. People aren't supposed to touch anyone, ever, and if you blow past your defender too fast, it was probably a travel.
That phantom travel call on Garrett that took away the would-be game tying layup really changed how this one ended.

The problem with this game was not the refs...it was the one and done possessions. Rebounding killed us in the second half.

UNI had a good gameplan, kept us out of ours. Good game by them. Officiating definitely was not in our favor, but not the reason we lost.

I am starting to despise their clap-happy coach though.

The refs didn't cost us the game, but they certainly didn't help.

That last travel call was horrible. Kwazdo played hopscotch down the lane earlier and didn't get called.

I have done some reffing and know that it is a thankless job. But this game peeved me to no end! While I wouldn't go quite that far in calling for their jobs - NOT calling Kwadzo on an obvious travel and then calling DG on that no-travel was total BS. THat would have tied the game again. They didn't let the players decide the outcome - they controlled the game! That is what upsets me the most!! I didn't really expect to win the game - but we had to overcome more than just poor shooting, we had to overcome a 6th UNI player on the floor.

It wasnt JUST the refs. This team couldnt make shots and that offensive game plan dominated us. The refs, however, blew some calls, the travel and that foul on Anderson on the inbound play, obvious trip on UNI's player.

Make a real argument instead of crying about the refs like a 13 year old girl.

Our team lost tonight because they didn't rebound effectively, and didn't make open shots down the stretch. It had nothing to do with the refs.
