1. Who has relatives living in Iowa City
2. Has a daughter going to the University of Iowa
3. Played for the University of Iowa
4. Has taken a troubled program and led them to higher goals
5. Coached under the legend, Hayden Fry
6. Loves the University of Iowa more than anything in the world.
7. Would work to fill the roster with Iowa players.
8. Understands Kirk Ferentz pain.

Can you guess who this man is?

i dont see Dmac going to Iowa.. the guy was here for to long and i dont think he would want to get in that type of position against a team he was with for so long..

Now i wouldnt be suprised if u saw a team LIKE Baylor but not Baylor.. as in a team that needs some rebuilding

I would love to see them hire Dan McCarney. Absolutely love it. Only bad thing is we would never win the CyHawk game ever again.

I am going to go to bed tonight and PRAY that KF leaves and DMac gets hired at Iowa. That means 7 - 5 seasons will be their best and the rest will be between 2 and 5 wins a year....Mac at Iowa would be great!

It would be interesting to see what Iowa fans really thought of him if he becomes a serious HC candidate, considering last year when we dumped him their opinion of "what a mistake we were making because he turned the program here at ISU and we wouldn't be able to find anyone better." Would the tune change?
