They will not take returns, despite the fact their website says they do.

I bought a pair of work shoes in an unadvised spur of the moment purchase off of an instagram ad. my mistake, but here we are. The shoes weren't going to work for me so I went to the website to see how to return them. I had to contact them for that info. In the first response they said I had to send them photos of the shoes to make sure they were blemish free. I did, but then they stopped communication. I requested return information 4 separate times in total within the 14 day return window. All were ignored.

AFTER they drug their feet until the 14 day return window had lapsed, they responded to my 5th request with a boiler plate response saying that the 14 day return window had lapsed and they could no longer accept returns.

a crap business, don't give them your money.

just needed to vent. thanks for listening.

Not exactly sure.
If you need work boots, use this place. My family has bought from them for generations even though its a few miles now. The same Red Wings I get from them for 175 area are over 250 at other stores.

If I lived in iowa i probably would. after this experience, I think I'd like to try them on before I buy anything and have to deal with the mess of sending back. I actually have a decent pair of redwings I could have resoled, but they just too heavy with the steel toe.

Go composite toes. Still have righty but not as strong as steel. They aren’t a whole lot heavier than non steel toes.

Irish setters are made by red wing but are a little cheaper for those that aren’t going to be in the elements all the time.

Contact your credit card and dispute the charge citing the above run-around. There are safeguards in place that protect consumers

Good reminder to not buy shoes/boots online unless you've tested them in store or prior experience with the brand.

I only order from Amazon. Typically order multiple sizes to send the extras back. But, I’m not really creative in my shoe buying. It’s almost always the same brand or even the same model as the ones getting replaced.

I’m a little worried as to how many other instagram ads have swindled you
believe it or not, I am usually pretty tight with my money and rarely make spontaneous purchases. This being a great example as to why I rarely make purchases like this.

after 30 days, they just sent instructions on how to return the shoes. after reading all the 1* reviews on trust pilot though, I think I may just keep them for fear losing both the shoes and the $20 shipping cost.

It was stupid of my to impulse buy from an instagram ad. never again. don't do dumb things like I did. buy from trusted companies.
