I saw them in Sioux City on my birthday back in 1988. Kokomo was new at the time, but I loved their older stuff more.

Teen me was a big fan of the fine collection of bikinis all in one place.

Pretty decent tribute, though I’m not sure he does his genius (or genius in general) justice. Though who among us can fully appreciate it…?

Rather than being burdened by the label of genius and being a damaged genius, I would say genius is a burden…and we are all damaged, and genius just amplifies that.

Look at Mozart, Van Gogh, and Picasso…even Einstein’s personal life. Wilson seems to have born that burden as well. Most of their music was way before my time, but I still appreciate their sound.
