For some reason, which I can’t completely explain, his sounds just really resonate with me. I probably don’t know a lot of his work, but have always thought of him as a supremely unique talent.

Pretty decent tribute, though I’m not sure he does his genius (or genius in general) justice. Though who among us can fully appreciate it…?

Rather than being burdened by the label of genius and being a damaged genius, I would say genius is a burden…and we are all damaged, and genius just amplifies that.

Look at Mozart, Van Gogh, and Picasso…even Einstein’s personal life. Wilson seems to have born that burden as well. Most of their music was way before my time, but I still appreciate their sound.
