The Walking Dead

Resident Evil as someone stated earlier, are the only group of movies that I can think of that have zombified animals. Not that that is a good endorsement, those movies are god awful, and even worse when you consider how good the games are.

I loved the games and was crushed at just how bad the first movie is. After that mess I have no interest in watching any of the sequels.

Just got done watching the pilot on my DVR. Loved it.

Second episode = definitely better than the first.

Pretty raw stuff. This isn't the traditional network TV stations putting this show on, and you can tell.

I like where the story is going.

Loved it, can't wait to see the confrontation between Rick and the dude banging his wife.

My guess is there won't be one, not for a while anyway. I'm surprised that this happens so fast. I'd just assumed that they'd make us wait until the end of the season for a reunion. I'm really curious to see if the redneck is able to reach the hacksaw (that got kicked out of the toolbag) and get free or if he'll still be stuck there when they come back for him?

They'll go back for him on the rooftop and use the hack saw to set him free since the key is gone for good.

Also, I bet the wife gets preggers...that would be some real drama.

I think they'll get there and he'll be gone and he'll be a bad guy for the rest of the series.

I kind of liked the first episode better. The second was good, but I'm just really intrigued with one person dealing with this type of situation alone. It seems like there's always a group in zombie movies and I'd be curious to see how one person, by themself, not knowing if they're the only person left in the world, would handle the situation.

The first 3/4 of I am Legend.

Wow can't believe they put the show on Hulu. Usually AMC makes it difficult to watch their shows, not sure if they have ever had any on hulu.

Putting up the first episode just makes good marketing sense. Let people watch it for free & if you get them hooked then you've just expanded your viewer fanbase as well as increased the likely number of future episode downloads from places like iTunes and Amazon. Of course, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they didn't put any other episodes up for free viewing.

Watched the first two episodes tonight. It's well done and the acting is good. Not sure if it is purposely an homage to other zombie movies, but the premise of waking up in the hospital is 28 days later, and being stuck in the shopping mall has been done a few times.

Liked it and will definitely keep watching.

Smearing themselves in zombie guts was a new twist (at least not one I have seen).

Yup, a twist on a shaun of the dead moment, but definitely on a different level.

I think they are just getting some of the 'classic zombie movie moments' out of the way early

Why is it in zombie movies/shows the survivors just wear regular clothing. Wouldn't you go raid the local highschool/sporting good store for football pads/helmets, etc. that way you could reduce the chance of being bit if you were attacked?

Some guys had on helmets and pads in the second episode when they went out with baseball bats.

Watched the second episode last night. I thought it was excellent. Can't wait for next week.
