The Walking Dead

I love zombies...so I will continue to watch.

The frustrating thing about the Walking Dead is that it goes from extreme bad/cliche to great is the same show.

I wish they would have attained a better director to helm it and balance out the quality.

Well if you think about it, if you could clean out building that has a brick wall around its grounds, that would be a perfect place to go. The grounds could grow food and the wall would protect.

Yea, with the zombies proven to eat things other than human, I really think finding a safe compound in the city to wait for the zombie migration to the country makes more sense than being out in the open wilderness.

So let me get this straight, because I cut in half way through the second episode. Lori and Shane got freaky, then Rick makes it to camp? Talk about minimal grieving time.

Awkward.

Good episode, although the old people's home thing was a little cheesy.

That was actually my favorite part of the episode, unlike most people who have commented on it in this thread. I like the turning of the conventional stereotype on its head; with the supposed "gang" actually being pretty good guys to stay behind and take care of a vulnerable population like that. Maybe because I work in a similar health care field (I work at a group home with adults with developmental disabilities, that part of the episode made me wonder what would happen to the population I work with in a zombie apocalypse scenario).

Really what you need is a moat. Pefecto. Literally going medievil on their behinds.

I should rephrase that I didn't hate the care facility theme, I just wanted more out of this episode. It kinda dragged for me untilt he very end. With only 6 episodes this year they really isn't that much time and they spent 30 minutes on that.
