I just picked up a 15 foot telescoping flag pole at walmart.....well ok it's not a true flag pole, but a telescoping pool cleaning pole. It slides to 5 feet long at it's shortest, and 15 feet extended....Here is the kicker....20 bucks, the cheapest one at camping world was 79.00. Their 20 foot telescoping was 212.00. I figure I can mount it up 5 feet on my motorhome ladder for the extra 192 dollars.......I had to drill 2 holes so I can zip tie the flags to it....the little woman gave her thumbs up.....thought others might like this option too.....

Craig

here is a pic of it in action, I have to say it works really good.

if you use plastic wire ties to mount the pole on your ladder, you can cut it down to take home after every game. just a thought.

How big of a flag are you flying and will it be sturdy enough to fly it with a stiff breeze??

Cause if it works, it sounds like a heck of an idea.

Im flying 2 flags, the new logo flag over the old logo flag, this thing is very sturdy and the flags are roughly 5x3 each. If I need to add a zip tie to the ladder to sturdy it up I will.

Not too bad... I may look into it before the Kansas game. Already have things packed and ready for this weekend.

Someone broke my pole last year  They are quite pricey at the Campus Book Store if I remember right.
