Having them over in the corner we felt took away from how they did such a great job all the other years being on the end keeping things going and being more active . We were in their old section today and it just seem like they were more quite or we couldn’t hear them all that well.

It’s definitely is different. And their effect seems to be less. I’m anxious to hear them and see for a bigger game like Baylor in a couple weeks.

Not near the experience, no interaction between the band and the students during the game. A tunnel from the visiting locker room to the visitors bench would have been better. Have the top of the tunnel be even with the wall, so views of the game wouldn't be blocked. JFC, we are an engineering school!

They weren’t that loud today. But the game wasn’t close either so that may be part of it. It will be interesting since they’re in the Bowled endzone now what the sound is like for a big game. They are further back compared to where they were before. Cyclone power was still good. Kinda sucks there isn’t enough room for the cyclone nation flag where they are now (at least that’s why I assume it wasn’t out there).

As someone who sits across from them now in Section 13, they were plenty loud today. The next overtime game will be crazy when playing in the closed in end with the students there.

Agreed. I think they were fine today. I think having them there could impact an OT game.

Need a few more games to evaluate better. I want to believe it's a positive thing to have the band energy and the student energy spread out around the stadium instead of only being in one corner.

Not exactly sure.
What was the deal with the band playing to the student section mostly? They did very little field maneuvers. I hadn’t seen that before.

We slide from the east side of the South endzone to the west side. Our new seats aren't bad, but I preferred being on the east side. We are 7 rows closer to the field and it kills depth perception when teams are driving towards the North endzone.
I guess we will have to live with the switch, but I still cannot figure out why Jami wanted to do the switch.

I wonder if the mobile contingent of the band will start to be more dedicated to being in the area of the student section. I think when we have a game that’s actually competitive there won’t be a noticeable difference in atmosphere.
