I doubt he's ever deadlifted before. His squat max can't be too high. I bet he can squat 165-185 on a good day. Cleans also can't be too high. I'd say 115.

I could go down the street and find a 14 year old swimmer at Valley HS with better lifts than that. I'm sure McKay's lifts are well above those marks. These are D1 athletes we're talking about here.

Just a question. How come all of the other teams in the conference look physically dominant compared to us? Baylors bigs always look like beasts where Mckay looks like he's been a model for Victorias Secret with that feminine body of his. What is Moser's philosophy compared to other schools?

Minus gathers Baylor typically has scrawny guys. Quincy Miller was like 6'10 190 at Baylor. I'd think you'd be on your deathbed with that height and weight combo.

When you're 6'9", 20 pounds isn't much at all. Every college hoops big should be able to put on 20 pounds in 2 years with the trainers and nutritionists they have available if they put in the time and dedication.
If only it were that easy.
When I turn on my TV and watch CBB and NBA, I always wonder why I see some string beans out there.. Now I know that it's not genetics, but just bad trainers, nutritionists, and poor work ethic.
Forget the laws of science, let's just add 20 lbs of muscle mass to everybody!

And can we just put this to rest? McKay's body size and muscle mass are not the problem. Nobody was saying this last year when he was Big 12 DPOY. The problem is between the ears, not his lack of muscle.

It's just like hair... ANYONE can grow hair. Its all about diet and how hard you push. Anybody balding is doing so due to lack of mental focus and effort.
If you sneeze with your mouth shut and plug your nose, the pressure will push new hairs through the skin and into the top of your head. It's simple, really.
