Spring fever

Anybody else have it?

Today is the warmest it has been since last fall. It might even reach 60 degrees. I rode my bicycle into town this morning which is one fun ride (its a five mile down hill ride).

It's supposed to reach the 50s by Thursday here in Omaha. We've had some very nice days the last few weeks which were unfortunately followed up with some very snowy days.
I've had my motorcycle out about 6 times in the last 3 weeks and I am so ready for spring.

It snowed here the second week of June last year, so I have no illusions that the warm weather is here to stay.

Nevertheless, I'll enjoy it while I can.

Texas doesn't really have seasons. There is summer (late April through early October) when it is hot, sunny, hot, dry, and hot, and then there is "not summer" (all other months) when it less hot, pretty temperate/mild, but still very dry. That is one of the things I miss the most about Iowa: the changing seasons (particularly spring and fall), although I definitely do not miss the long, cold winters.

Supposed to be 75 in Denver today.....I am itching to go fly fishing...
