If you are wearing brown Sperrys with your Black/Blue suit jacket and khaki pants, is it mandatory to wear blue/black socks? Some of my fraternity brothers disagree with me not wearing socks with sperrys. I know it is a thread most won't care about so don't troll and respond with some smart *** response. Just taking a poll.

Your whole premise is flawed; wearing boat shoes with a suit jacket is a great formula for looking like an *******, socks or no socks.

Boat shoes + suit = No, there is not an appropriate situation for that.

But in general, never wear socks with boat shoes. Ever.

Boat shoes with khakis and a dark blazer sounds like a terrible idea. I actually think a man could wear Sperry's with a suit right now, but you pretty much have to be a total boss to pull it off without looking terrible. And even if you pull it off, a ton of people will think you look like a doofus anyway.
