Good article. Thanks. I know they have hired several new profs in my son's department and one of them is very good according to my kid. They certainly need to meet increasing enrollment needs.

Pretty cool that ISU is the only one doing things right.

Also will say that this probably wouldn't be possible without the booming enrollment, so to those who have questioned that, you can't really have it both ways.

This is the sort of thing that shows how out of proportion the Bubu reaction is. Leath may or may not have screwed that up, but who cares, running the University and making sure academics are more important that athletics is the president's job.

Don't want to start a big debate, but this is kind of the point. Why was he making decisions on athletics? It would have been one thing to punish Bubu as a student that affected his athletics but Leath shouldn't have been deciding on his athletic eligibility.

Like I said I don't want to debate it I just want you to understand one of the reasons why people think he screwed up.
