Just a general question... why doesn't the Big12 channel mention Iowa State in their self promo commercials during breaks? I've listened to this station for years.

I've heard:

Bevo on the 40 acres, Boomer Sooner, Rock Chalk not getting old, TCU fight em on the ice in hell, Pistol Pete, EMAW, Baylor Line, Red Raider and even the Mountaineers.

Why not ISU fights? Or where they sing Bells of Iowa State?

I tried reaching out to them here but chrome blocks the site:

Not sure if its a big deal but I've always thought it needed to be mentioned, especially with David Archer being on that show.

I have wondered the same thing for the past couple of years. Let's see, Dave Archer is on the morning show, former ISU QB, and former NFL QB, but somehow the channel does not have a promo for ISU. We are the only school in the conference that does not have one.

Since we are complaining, how about getting two former OU players off the afternoon show, and balance it up a little, gets tiresome hearing about OU and what is going there every other day. Both afternoon guys played at OU, and one is one their radio pre/post game. What are these going to do when OU is in the SEC?

It also seems like the morning show has reporters from Texas and OU on every day, and the other schools get about one hit per week.

The only plus is starting the show late and being able to catch up quickly by skipping the OuT talk.
