Caught the last week... Archer and someone were interviewing both and asked about the CyHawk rivalry. Bailey said he had never heard of the rivalry until he played in it. Then he starts laughing and says "I hate those guys. I don't even know why - but I hate those guys"... Not sure why but it made me laugh out loud...

It was REALLY clear they want to beat Iowa more than anyone... Which is cool with me so long as they beat everyone else in conference too...

I was just reviewing the series history......we are due to deliver a beat down. So many times we had opportunities to, and it just seems we let off the gas (McCarneyball). Most of the time the talent difference just won't allow it and we just barely win. We are "due"....but the opportunity is not there this year either unless there is some freak key injury to them.

“Them”? If you’re referring to Iowa, this sentence makes absolutely zero sense. The opportunity to beat UI sure as heck is there this year. No clue whatsoever what you’re talking about.

I'm not buying the 'want to beat Iowa more than anyone' mantra since they haven't played all that well vs. Iowa the last few years.

I get the 'in-state' hate thing and it's returned from Iowa, but there's more to it than that by a long shot.

I think they should want to beat Iowa badly this year, given how the past couple games have gone.

But it won't make or break our season. And we know Campbell doesn't put too much emphasis on one game (at least not publicly).
