Shopping for a Cyclone Replica Basketball Jerseys

Hey Clones,

Long story short, I have been trying to find a basketball jersey as a Christmas gift and haven’t had any luck since June. I have exhausted all options and ready to throw up the white flag. Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can find a replica Iowa State basketball jersey?

Iowa State Bookstore = “We didn't sell enough last year and don’t have any plans to order jerseys for this season.â€

Cy’s Locker Room = same story, “no jerseys on hand, no plans to order jerseys†although they do carry a customizable blank jersey for $80…not exactly what I had in mind.

Strawberry Patch, Scheels, Dick’s Sporting Goods = no jerseys on hand and no plans to order them in the foreseeable future.

All online stores also have no Iowa State jerseys on hand. (eBay, Craigslist, Fansedge.com, footballfanatics.com, collegebasketballstore.com, champssports.com, cbssports.com). Interestingly, you can find a Belmont, Youngstown State, North Texas, Utah State….almost every basketball program replica jersey except Iowa State! How is this possible??

Scheels. Always has plenty of Freddy #32 jerseys. Even in I.C. Scheels I've seen a ton of them.

I checked with Scheels at both Iowa City and West Des Moines locations and was told Nike wasn't producing Iowa State basketball jerseys this year. I know it sounds crazy, but there may be some truth behind it as I can't find any jerseys anywhere.

You may have to look on E-bay for a good used one. I got Mike Nurse's warmup jacket that way.

I’ve never used them but I drive by P&M Apparel in Polk City every day. I believe they do Jerseys and warmups and stuff like that. The new building has a bunch of what look like sample apparel items in it. Might be worth checking out.

I’d be wary of that one. Looking through the website, it seems sketchy. Their “about us” page is just generic customer service lingo next to random years. I’d be very cautious about sharing card info with them.

I’m all for a china replica jersey. I’d honestly go through DH Gate. They host various sellers and have somewhat of a recourse process if there’s an issue with the order.
