Wait, just wait. Tiger Woods' is an American. His heritage is 1/4 Chinese, 1/4 Thai, 1/4 African American, 1/8 Native American, and 1/8 Dutch.
I understand how this can be thought of as a "black" issue but if he is 1/2 Asian, shouldn't this technically be an "Asian" racist remark? KFC rules Asia, so I tend to think of it like that.
Is everyone in the world missing that?

Why is fried chicken considered racist? Nearly every culture eats fried chicken. Serious question. I know it's a stereotype but I think some people perpetuate the situation otherwise this would be a non issue. If there wasn't such a reaction towards things like this, the younger generation may not even know that fried chicken is derogatory to a certain group.

I agree with this. If he had this kind of history with Rory and made a crack about potatoes, I doubt we're talking about this. Was it a dumb thing to say? Yes, but there are far worse stereotypes out there than the kind of food an ethnic group may be known for eating
