The sad part is that it wouldn't have been any surprise to anyone.
I'm at the point where I want the top 16 or so programs to branch off and do their own thing. Those 16 programs will
always fight each other for more and more money. It's like a parent rewarding their kid $5. But their sibling looks at that and says "but I do more. Give me $8". Parents oblige. Then the first kid will say "That's not fair. Give me $10". And the cycle continues
So let them argue with each other. Give me rivalry games between schools that are geographical neighbors. Pure college football entertainment. That would be my dream
