Just wanted to share how much I enjoy this conference struggling.

Yesterday, a 1 win Costal Carolina team was 1 point from knocking off Bilemas Hogs at home.

A 2 win UMass team nearly beat Mississippi State team playing at home.

Florida gets taken to the woodshed against a 3 win Mizzou team.

On top of that, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Tennessee, Florida, Ole Miss and Arkansas could all fail to qualify for a bowl game. Almost half the conference.

Way up there
It's def down, has been for a few years, hell, the SEC hasn't been good for a long time. The thing is, it's pointless, with no Ohio St, the committee will want 2 SEC teams in the CFP worse than ever.

That league needs an infusion of fresh coaching talent in a bunch of places. Fan bases like A&M, Tenn, FLA, LSU, Ark are going to have to to accept a total rebuild and culture change from the ground up. That takes 3-4 years minimum. SEC programs will have to learn, much like Texas is learning, that there's more to being successful than unlimited $ and exclusive TV networks/deals. Texas A&M spent $300M on Kyle Field and it was about 20% empty yesterday. Too much entitlement means it doesn't matter how many 4* and 5* recruits walk on to campus.
