Thank God this happened! I was getting worried that with all the recent pub about Des Moines actually being a great place to live and work, that we'd get over run. I'm just fine with the rest of the world thinking this place sucks, because I love it.

That is dead on. Honestly I would love to move back to Iowa and would hate to find that it is a "popular" place to live.:smile:

I wouldn't worry to much. I think the economy in Iowa is a little worse right now than it is here in Washington, or at least it feels like it. I have a bunch of friends in Iowa that can't find work at all (I was the same way), while there are actually a few places out here that are consistently looking for help and can't find anyone.

I don't know about the whole state, but central Washington seems to be doing okay
