Calling CF tech gods again:
My question is this. If I get power to an internal hard drive, is there a cord that I can buy that would go from SATA (which plugs into the motherboard) to eSATA which I have on my laptop?
Or would that even work at all?
Mostly want to see if I can still get anything off of a hard drive.
I ask because the HardDrive made some 'interesting' sounds on my desktop and now appears to be messed up pretty bad. When I try to start to computer it goes past the BIOS screen ok, goes to the load Windows XP 64 with the progress bad, but once it looks like the progress bar is done (the time it would normally display the desktop) it quits and then trys to do the process over again.
