At least they have that 99th Sagarin ranked football team to go with their 283 RPI basketball.

No other P5 basketball team is even close to them. 7-22 Boston college 50 spots ahead.

They are epically bad. They are a good argument for relegation. They would get destroyed in the MVC as well.

We all knew the acquisition of Rutgers and Maryland by the B1G was ridiculous, but I'm not sure it could be foreseen that Rutgers would be this bad in both of the main sports at the same time. Either way, hopefully all of those cable and satellite subscribers are enjoying paying for the B1G to be part of their packages now.

They're statistically the worst B10 team since Mich St joined in the 1950's.

TCU was pretty terrible their first 2 years in the Big 12. In football they went 7-6(4-5) and 4-8(2-7) and basketball they went 11-21(2-16) and 9-22(0-18). In football Rutgers went 8-5(3-5) and 4-8(1-7) and basketball they went 10-22(2-16) and are 6-23(0-16) so far this year.

It's not even close though, between those TCU teams and Rutgers. That's really the point to be honest -- those terrible TCU teams would make this Rutgers team their *****.

Yea but the difference is Rutgers came from the Big East, a power bball conference. Much different than making the jump from the MWC to the big 12 and playing a round robin schedule.
