rooting for big 12

When ISU is done in either basketball or football, do you root for the Big 12? I couldnt find myself rooting for texas in the Rose Bowl. I, probably the only person on earth, thought maybe just maybe we coulda beat them. Anything can happen on any given saturday. But I'll just have to live with it.

I rroted for Texas since they would lose more players - Vince might not have left if he had not won.

Yep I definitly root for other Big 12 teams when they are playing another major team from a different conference. The more of those wins the Big 12 teams has the better it makes us and our conference look.



I rooted my butt off for Texas in the Rose Bowl.

I only root for Nebraska when they play Notre Dame, USC, Texas A&M and Texas..

How could anyone root for USC over any Big 12 team?!? Especially in the championship game. Good things happening in the big 12 = good things happening for ISU.

Goonies, I agree with you I think that we COULD have beaten Texas last year. Think about it, we shut down every other running QB that we played. Brad Smith was worthless and it took his backup to beat us and Reggie McNeal wasn't worth a damn either.

Unless Nebraska is playing a big Ten team then i cant root for them. I will root for most of the Big XII, but if it is a team that i really dont like then i cant.

god love ya and Goonies....I love ISU as the next guy....but there is no way we could have beaten Texas...we were not even in the same galaxy as that team. We couldn't even beat Kansas when everything was on the line....and McNeal and Smith combined could not fill the jockstrap of Vince Young. Keep the faith however!

I always root for the Big 12, even nebraska, and about any other conference that can make the big 10 and more so EIU looked terrible.
