Ridge Lovett Reveals School List

Big Board, Lovett came in to Junior Nationals ranked 7th at 132 and with win's over Rayvon Foley and Dylan D'Emilio in last year's Fargo fest. His run in 2018 was even more superior. First he knocked off #1 126lber Beau Bartlett before taking out D'Emilio again in the semi's. He would fall to Jordan Decatur in a wildly entertaining final, but his stock soared.

Now, not only are the coaches that were on him pre-Fargo on the edge of their seat, but new coaches as well and the college wrestling audience in general.

I've spoken to several college coaches regarding Lovett's future and despite wrestling 132 in Fargo, the consensus is that he will grow into a future 149.

Lovett says his ideal program is one that fits his style; one that will accentuate his attributes.

"I’m looking for a school that will develop and add to my skills and styles and not try to change me. I’m looking for a school that is strong in faith, and one that has a developed RTC."

He's already been on unofficial visits to every school on his list except for Oklahoma State, and he's recently finalized his calendar for his officials, with the exception also of OK State.

Ridge Lovett's Visit Dates
Nebraska September 7th
NC State September 14th
Purdue September 21st
Iowa State October 12th
OK State TBD

The developed RTC could be an issue, not sure what the others have. The faith part is also a part that I don't know about our current staff due to not being around them hardly at all.
