For us to be where we want to be (trophy team) he or Tate needs to take a very large step forward. He is our starter for now, but 74 has been disappointing this year. Unless Gaitan loses and gives up on 165 it seems like we'll have to live with it.

He wrestled in the Grandview Open this year at 165. MFF out to not place... I don't know if he was really hurt or just hit him match limit and MFF out like some of the guys do. Went 4-2 with losses to Jack Thomsen, UNI in the Quarters & Inj default to Jovon Mitchell, Grandview on the back side.
Tough break. He showed some stones in finishing the Iowa match. I hope he can come back stronger than ever next year.
I assume then he’s probably not realistic for 165 this season then IF MJ would go back to 174? With Euton out it seems 165&174 just got really thin. I know there is Riggins and Nak, but Tate is injuried and Riggins hasn’t shown much yet.
Frost won in OT 4-1 Meza vs KT was 2-0 I believe (escape and stall for 1)
Medical RS to avoid gable and come win the title next year? Half joking. And convince Ech to stay with him and use that extra year of eligibility
No idea about his health, but the Heavyweight decks will be cleared of Gable, Wyatt and Kerk after this year. On the other hand, a 26 year old college wrestler seems, I don't know, weird.
0 chance. You have to be injured 2 years to get Med RS. Yonger has already wrestled 3 full years with no RS or injury. I almost sure RS is off the table since he wrestled against Iowa. Medical is off the table.
