Report on Roy Williams non-sighting

Sorry, but there does not seem to have been any sightings of Roy Williams last night. There was a smattering of UNC blue, but not even very much of that. I looked around where HB's mother was sitting and scanned the arena several times. I was hoping to give him a fitting CF non-welcome to Hilton, such as suggesting he might want to stay close to the cop "guarding" Vance Downs.

Bruce Weber was there with Jereme Richmond's family, though I didn't see him until after the game while I was talking to some Waukegan fans.

Some spew venom on a discussion board against RW stealing Iowa athletes, I was going to do it in person. I considered it a solemn duty to tell him, on behalf of ISU fans everywhere, that we don't welcome him to Hilton!

Does it get more ISU MBB than that?

Jereme Richmond is going to be really good. He is ultra quick. I just don't think he had a team around him.

There was discussion on a UNC board that he might be coming. You know how reliable discussion forums are.

I suspected that he might not want HB to have too much of a good time playing at Hilton without keeping his focus on UNC.

Or maybe he might have wanted to be like Bruce Weber who was there with Richmond's family. Richmond committed years ago to Illinois.

Or maybe he might just have wanted to rub it in our faces.

Why would Roy be there?

To make sure no Waukegan fans say "don't miss it!" when HB is shooting freethrows. If you so much as utter a single word when one of his players are shooting, Deputy Dog will have security run your ***!
