What is Goodman's problem with ISU? He's ripping on other people's appearance (Niang and twinkies), yet he looks like Peyton Manning's ugly brother. Maybe the media has changed, but it all seems like after that loss to UAB the media has gone from loving us to absolutely despising us. Either way, I think he's wrong about us next year and we wind up being pretty darn good and Goodman will be the first one to say "I knew Iowa State was going to be good this season.".

I understand your frustration, but sometimes he flashes stuff out there without thinking because he gets bombarded with confrontational tweets....some which he brings on himself. Not to stick up for him, but in fairness...most of the gurus will be saying or thinking the same thing, especially after our Virginia and other NCAA games. Almost everything we ran went thru Georges (and rightly so). Not just the points he averaged, but how we often struggled to manufacture points when he'd have to leave games with foul trouble. A lot of people will be joining in on the post-Georges doubt for next season's team, not just Goodman. As we know, he was a flat out 'scorer' and a versatile mismatch. Until they see what happens, don't look for high praise early next season. Guessing we'll have to prove it first.

When sportswriters say a team is not going to be good and the only reason is because of who that team loses, they are being very lazy as a journalist. Teams never play a season with players they lost. They play with players that are on the team. That should be the focus of the analysis.
