I agree, and think we are probably 3rd or 4th right now, but I do think the schools he's visited in the last 2 weeks are his top 4 as of right now.Yeah he's on a bit of a Midwest summer tour right now. ISU is like the 7th school hes visiting in a 4 week span. Smart move tho, kids exploring all his options.
I just read something recently and he didn't even mention Iowa State. Who knows on these kinds of things, I think it is good ISU is in the picture but before the visit I think they are further down the list . Maybe this visit changes things though.
I wouldn't necessarily expect him to talk about us until he has had a visit.
That is a weird take. he has mentioned ISU plenty in the past. Just not recently.
I hadn't heard anything about him before (I think I would have remembered his name), so I'm surprised (pleasantly) that he has been talking about us in the past. It will be interesting how he talks about us after the visit in light of the other teams he is interested in.
They have actually been recruiting him for quite awhile now. I like his game and he would seem to fit with ISU. I think Northwestern might be the team to beat and then Illinois. He is good friends with Lathon and has a long relationship with one of Northwestern's assistant coaches.
I haven't seen any of his highlight tapes. What's his playing style? At 6'5 I'd guess he does most of his damage from the perimeter.
Let me Google that for you:
Looks like a very skilled player.
Kids talk about schools that they haven't visited all the time.I wouldn't necessarily expect him to talk about us until he has had a visit.
take that as a "not encouraging" I guess.So..... did he show?
Time to freak out about Prohm's recruiting ability?take that as a "not encouraging" I guess.
Made me think of Burton by his build - hope he also has that kind of range - I like and hope we get - any word about his thoughts after his visit? Thanks. Wow, that's a much sturdier frame than I would have thought. 210 seems a bit conservative. I'd put him at more like 220 or 225. Moves well for a big kid.
