T Harris if anyone cares to watch his film and highlights should see that this kid is the real deal and this is exactly the type of pg that would just give us fits in years past..He is lightening quick...great handles..and shoots the 3 very well.

Having he and LW in backcourt for 2-3 years would be...umm..well certainly the highest rated back court in the history of ISU thats for sure.

LW plans on only being at ISU one year though. Not saying that will happen obviously, but he's said himself that those are his plans. Love that confidence.

Where has he said this?

I recall reading a quote from him that was his intention.

Unlikely that he wouldn't be here two years at least IMO.

Will confirm his quote from LW in an early interview with him about his plans to go pro after 1 year. Vaguely recall he had a qualifying statement after that but if he's good enough than he's good enough.

Way up there
This would be a great pickup, I love his game and his demeanor. Looks like a humble kid, watching his highlights, you never see any celebration or trash talking. Almost a Deonte Burton level of stoic ness

Yeah, this was discussed in another thread at the time because most ISU fans were saying "hey, if he's good enough to be a one and done, that's great, then we're going to have another great year most likely." Which I agree with.

But also, what high school player wouldn't dream of being a "one and done" player? LW just has the confidence to say it.

I'll be stunned if he's good enough to leave after 1 year.

I would be too but it's a good problem to have.

If Wigginton goes to the NBA after one year we should have guards lining up to play for Prohm, since he will be 4 straight PG's in the NBA.

Only if you assume it means where the player is going to end up in 5 months. It is a good indicator of what teams are in the running and/or have the recruiting momentum.
This. It's fitting that crystal ball picks change as often as they do considering how fluid recruiting is.

I've given up on "should" when it comes to recruiting. Recruiting makes no sense to me. We have been to 6 straight dances, have a fanbase almost 2nd to none, great school, etc, and yet we keep missing on kids. Fred did too. Fred had tons of misses. And I never understood it.

Is it just the Ames, Iowa problem?? Kids today don't care that much if you have great academics, one of the most beautiful campuses in the country, etc.... they want to go places with more to do it seems? UNLV for example. Or they will go to a blue blood like Kentucky or Kansas where you live in a 5 star resort "dorm". We don't have that either.

We've kinda lost that FocusTown thing we had going for us. "Come to ISU where there is absolutely nothing to do but concentrate on basketball and get to the NBA someday". Kids now want more bells and whistles than that I think??

Think y'all are wrong, this is the quote:

Do you have a game plan as to how quickly you’d like to get to the NBA?

If it’s year two, I’m cool with it, but of course, everybody wants to be one-and-done. I really don’t feel like there’s a need for that. Two or three, I really feel like as long as you get that chance and just be ready when the time is there, I just feel like I just want to go in there physically ready and mentally ready. You don’t want to just go in as a young guy and just get out of the league and go to the league over in Europe. No offense to them, they’re great leagues. I just want to go in and be physically ready at the time. If it takes one year, two years, three years, I’m cool with it.

Yea that's not what he has said and I've seen a lot of interviews with LW..he has said time and time again that he will leave if he's ready and can go but he's not concerned with being some one and done kid..he's actually said the opposite.
