RECRUITING: Wisconsin prospect Donovan Davis (@DavisBB21) was at Hilton for Iowa State's win over Kansas Wednesday.

"Iowa State is one of those teams I would watch, because of Tyrese Haliburton coming from Wisconsin."

Recruiting friend of mine watched this kid at the HS tournament recently. His kid played against DD. The kid said I've played against a lot of really good players over the years but DD is the longest toughest quickest player I have ever been up against and it is not even close. STUD! The kid is unbelievable. I hope we get him.

I guess they put him at the top of a zone trap and the kids said his arms went from one side of the court to the other. LOL! They also mentioned he is not afraid of hard work he wants it.
Houston showed the value of disruptively long wingspan in its roster this year, which made players more versatile and able to switch. I remember my three man intramural team at ISU was pretty good. In the tournament we were advancing until we ran up against a team that had a 6'5" guy that we just couldn't get passes around or over. Things looked wide open and he would still make the steal. He was a lefty, so I overplayed him left and he STILL went left on me. Told him he should try out for the ISU team and he said, I am on it, but had to sit this year out...it was Elmer Robinson!
