Anyone have a good recliner recommendation? I currently have a Lane and it's a POS that I've had to fix twice since I bought it 4 years ago.

It has to have wife acceptance factor. So no obnoxious recliners with coolers, built in remotes, puffy, etc.

So nothing like this.

I don't think you can go wrong with a la-z-boy. You will pay a bit more for it, but I think the quality is worth it. I believe the rocker and recliner mechanism have lifetime warranties.

I have a couple in my mancave right now. They are getting to the point that they need to be replaced, but they are nearly 20 years old and have made 5 moves. I think they have held up really well.

La z boy all the way. Their are built solid and have the ratcheting reclining mechanism.

I have been very pleased with my comfortable, stylish, and durable Alexander Taylor model. It's as good as new after at least 7 years of regular use. The only problem is that the parent company, Hooker furniture, appears to have dropped the line. They now feature Bradington Young selections that appear to be very similar in style and I would assume quality.

Research to get a good quality recliner. Bought a La-Z-Boy 20 years ago and still abuse it today. I do not know if LZB is still the best as I haven't needed a new one lately.

Have a Bradington Young leather recliner that is awesome. Looks like a wingback chair with wood legs. The wife should be okay with it because it looks more upscale.

I've had a la-z-boy for 16/17 years, and its on its last legs, but I still use it, and its still comfy. Used to feed my daughter her bottle in it, now she's driving. Where does the time go?
