Somebody's hair is getting pretty long. Might be time for baby's first haircut.

Before you cut it could you gel it up into a big Mohawk once?

So I'm not totally enamored with where I live, as in town, but I want to share...

3:11 - leave apartment
3:20 - Stop at post office to buy stamps & send off Father's Day cards (longest wait)
??? - Stop at DMV to get tags
??? - Go through Sonic drive-thru for popcorn chicken and large cherry Coke. Get an XL cherry Coke at L price because that's what was made.
3:38 - Pull into parking lot at evening PT job

Not bad at all.

Beer comments I've tried to like IPAs they just aren't my thing, the hoppiness reminds me of skunked cheap beers when I was young. Wheats.Darks, Ambers, Lagers, etc.. I'm good with but IPAs just aren't my favorite.

Bike parts are in going to put it together tomorrow, a friend of my sister is going to help/show me he was a bike mechanic in a former life.

I've never seen someone so passionate about hard cider.

It was finally a drink I could drink instead of beer at picnics & camping & stuff. I'm not a fan of wine coolers or Mike's or Bacardi Raz type stuff - too sweet. So yeah, it made me mad when they decided to only market the sweet crap over here. It's New Coke all over again. ;)

That would have taken me at least a couple of days in DFW.

Where is this mystical land?

<code for taller stopping by to have the government monitoring devices installed since he now knows where boxy's 'puter is physically sitting>
I'm back in my old office so right now Boxster could probably find more info on me than I could him. Although I do interview in KC on Monday for a job that would put me back in FOs on a more permanent basis.

I'm too young to know about New Coke, I think.

Have you tried Woodchuck's or whatever it's called? They've got a decent variety of flavors.

Well confuser repair dudes weren't really recommending they **** with it since it's 3 plus years old. They said to figure repair versus just buying new and I see the point. Confuser isn't THAT old but I can get brand new one for $600 or so. Decided to drag it home and do a reinstall while I assemble new deck furniture. What the hell, if it is still ****ed up I'll just go buy a new Windows 10 Dell 1500. Lighter and more compact than the this brick of a Toshiba.

BTW, stopped at National Camera and uploaded a bunch of pictures to print for my mothers memorial. Their setup is sweet and easy to operate. Should do moar prints. Spent many hours editing the old pics before i brought them in. Boxster is pretty fussy and doesn't like specs and dusty spots etc no matter how old the photos. Unsharpen mask, clone and levels adjusting tools are photo savers. These look better than they did when taken with what was probably a Brownie box camera.

I still say New Coke was a brilliant marketing ploy even though Coke to this day denies it. It took them a few months to transition to New Coke because they said they had to exhaust all the "old" Coke yet when it came time to bring back "old" Coke as Coca Cola Classic it seemed to be on the shelves in a matter of days.

I never drank Woodchucks but KC's complaint is they took Strongbow and sweetened it to appeal to American tastes. It seems that every American that had it in the UK liked it the way it was.

Two issues:

1. The off-season makes me visit the cave a lot more. Not the best place for me, since most people there are either one extreme or the other. I've never been partisan and don't consider myself a Republican or Democrat. I just vote for whichever candidate makes sense for the specific election.
2. Spending more time in the cave makes me remove some of my former favorite posters from my signature. I think 5 people have dropped off in the past week or so. Some people are cool outside the cave, but totally different once in there.

Ottumwa....

My time at the DMV was just how long it took for me to write a check. If it was the end of the month, I MIGHT have had to wait behind three people.

Night and day between living in Chicagoland/Omaha/Lincoln.

Woodchuck & Angry Orchard are both sweeter (for American taste buds). I prefer the crisp unsweetened apple taste. My former inlaws were orchardists, and one of my favorite treats when we visited was taking apples straight off the trees, putting them in their old wooden press and making fresh apple cider. The taste can't be beat...unless you ferment it a little & make Strongbow. :)

And yes, you're probably too young to remember New Coke. Read up on it...it was one of the biggest marketing blunders of the late 20th century.
