Ask those bastards at Heineken why they stopped trying to introduce Desperados to the US after running the worst ad campaign ever.

They earned many forgiveness points with their commercial featuring Asteroids Galaxy Tour. Boxster loved this commercial.

So my laptop is wanting me to set a time to update to Windows 10. I can't close it, I can't say no, I can only update now or set a time within the next five days to do it. I can't even close it going through the control panel.

Any computer people have any ideas?
I was always able to click a remind me later button but I think Microsoft set a hard deadline on the free upgrade which is most likely why you are getting this.
I put it off for months and finally did it. You won't lose any of your files. Any programs you had are still there (ie: my RSA soft token)
Outside of the internet and logging into work. I'm not exactly a power user.
Edge sucks as a internet browser and there are certain things that can't be done from Edge so I have to use IE or Chrome. IE is still there, you just have to search for it and add a shortcut or pin it to the start menu.

Agreed. Don't use Edge. I use Chrome and IE for the stuff Chrome isn't good at.

Or download Firefox.

Final post from Amsterdam. Seemed kinda weird tonight to be in an Irish pub, drinking Heineken, eating fish and chips and listening to old USA and English rock. Beatles, Stones, Canned Heat, Beach Boys, Sam Cook ....the works. Even the waitress was from Dublin.

And that's from someone who wanted to blow up her laptop for the first three months of Windows 8.

sounds like me. I think DH has gotten a glimpse of tech-unsavvy future CG when trying to use 8. I don't think he liked it, either. Nightmares of me calling him 40 years from now asking how that there hologramy self driving car thing is supposed to work and how it won't turn on.

Stepping in a huge pile of dog crap after the spring's first winter thaw is better than Windows 8. So that's not saying much.

You know what's worse than that?

Moving into a new house in the winter, and having to clean up MONTHS of poop from the PREVIOUS OWNERS GIANT EFFING DOGS!

On top of the crap from my own three dumb *** dogs. I picked up 5 hy-vee bags of poop!

Due August 24th. His legs are measuring 2 weeks bigger than the rest of him so I think he's going to be the biggest of the Hopp boys.

In fact they will likely go in descending order. Oldest will be shortest at around 5'9, middle will be above average at maybe 6', and baby Jeff Jr will end up at about 6'2 or more.

The new and improved Mrs Hopp has giants blood in her. Her mothers family are all huge. Grandpa is 6'8, 6'10 minor league pitcher cousin, two more 6'4+ cousins, a nearly 6' tall 11 year old girl cousin.

GTO, you ever see Pontypol?
Yes, Pontypool is awesome and I think was one of the movies I recommended. Kind of a slower thinking man's zombie movie with a very unique way for the virus to get transmitted.

Pontypool is to NAVY Seals vs. Zombies as Albert Einstein is to Larry the Cable Guy.

I was watching this Top Ten modern horror classics list on YouTube. It was by a British company, so I trusted it a little more in its list because it didn't list all American garbage, and I realized I had only seen I think one or two movies on the list. It lost a little credibility with me when it put The Conjouring at number 2, because that movie was trash, but it still seemed like a pretty solid list. Let me see if I can dig it up on mobile.
