So my laptop is wanting me to set a time to update to Windows 10. I can't close it, I can't say no, I can only update now or set a time within the next five days to do it. I can't even close it going through the control panel.

Any computer people have any ideas?

hmmmm I had one where I could say update later but not choose a time. DH said we're going to have mine update sometime before it runs out though. Have to see if it gives me that screen tonight.

Really? I like Windows 10 quite a bit. And it's a free upgrade.

DH said it should be pretty much the same as 8. Which made me mad because I hate 8.

Windows 10 is much better than 8/8.1. I definitely recommend upgrading.

It's different from 8. The full screen start menu is no more. It's like a hybrid of 8.1 and 7. It's certainly faster than 8/8.1.

And if you have a touchscreen PC, you can still switch to tablet mode.

The rule on Microsoft OS is that every other one is good. Vista - bad, 7 - good, 8 - bad, 10 - good, etc.

It functions more like desktop software but can work really well as tablet software. It's much better than 8.
