Rahshon has really stepped up his man-to-man defense under McDermott, and he's emerged as a defensive stopper. It's obvious he takes as much pride in and works as hard at his defense as his offensive game (which isn't too shabby either).

I think he may be our best defensive player since Shawn Bankhead (the Floyd years), which is saying a lot. Opinions?

He took a lot of pride in his defense even under Morgan. I've had a mancrush on him since then. Players who work that hard at defense are hard to come by.

Watching Clark guard Justin Johnson was a thing of beauty. It was hard for Justin to even touch the ball, and Clark was fighting through every screen, and he was determined to shut him down.

Just because he was so naturally gifted, Tinsley was a very defensive player too. Most forget that because of his unbelievable offensive skills. Just check his stats in the steals category.

Anyone see Tinsley dribble between the legs of a defender the other night?

Tinsley is not a good on the ball defender, but he is excellent at getting into passing lanes for steals and at help defense.
