Then again, if you actually read the article you see it's due to a 1 time bonus of $400,000 and his base is only $500,000, less than TCU's AD.

I'm happy for JP, but concerned about the inflated value in general of sports salaries, particularly at the collegiate level.

Pollard deserves a lot of credit for the exciting things happening at isu athletically, perhaps about 900,000 of credit!

His base pay of 500k is a tad low. He deserves the 400k bonus.

Yeah, that. But he's doing the best job I've ever seen in my lifetime. Then again, I was in school during VandeVelde

They seem quite disturbed that he makes more than the Hok AD, even though Ferentz makes more than JP, CFH, CPR, and maybe even Fennelly combined.

That's it. I'm emailing Pollard. He needs to hear about this!

The bonus was likely moved up to avoid paying taxes in 2013. Good move. I would expect nothing less from JP.

Smart, motivated and edgy. Wasn't a fan when he pushed D Mac away but I'm a huge fan now. Best AD for ISU without question. I'll be sorry if/when he leaves.
