Testifying
Not sure if I’ve missed a rule change but the first dead ball in first and second half under 4 didn’t stop the action.
I was at the game, so not sure if it’s been talked about in a thread already either.
TIA

If a coach or team calls a timeout within 30 seconds of a media timeout, they treat that stop in play as a media timeout

The first team timeout of the second half is also its own media timeout, but that had already happened today

A team timeout within :30 of the regular media timeout window becomes that media timeout (except for the first called TO in the 2nd half).

OU's timeout at 4:22 in the first half became the under-4.
OU's timeout at 4:28 in the second half became the under-4.

Prohm has taken TO's in this window intentionally to trigger the media TO when he senses the guys are gassing and doesn't want to wait until the next dead ball (which could occur who knows when).
