Forget the name of the helicopter... but they have Helicopters designed to transport vehicles, equipment and supplies. We're talking tanks here, not a little bike or jeep...

The Chinook! needs a helicopter, cause I don't think that plane can land inside a stadium

I remember a long time ago when they were restoring the statue on top of the US capital - they used one of these helicopters to lift it off/put it back on

I believe you're thinking of the Chinook helicopter (technically the CH-47D/F Chinook). Doesn't Mangino already use one of these to travel on recruiting trips?

On a serious note however, I'm not suprised no one is mentioning Mangino or Pinkel. They both had great seasons this year, but most big time schools want to see if it was just a fluke or if they're just great coaches. Yes Mangino took Kansas from nothing to the Orange Bowl, but can he do it year after year now.

Actually Pinkel has been linked to the Michigan search. I think that would be a dream get for them, he's young, dynamic and he will definately be stealing some ISU recruits because the guy can coach and definately can recruit.....i hope he goes to michigan....Missouri is loaded and continuing to build a better program.....But from Pinkel's own comments....He love missouri and he's extremely loyal....this guy's going nowhere and we will have to beat a very good team each time we face them....The North is definately on the rise and everyone sees it....

Mangino, not a michigan guy - period.....as someone else pointed out, had he not won this year, he most likely would have been fired...this season saved his skin....

Today the HC of a top notch program is as much about image as anything else....thats why the Carrols, Stoops, Meyer, Brown & Chizik are so important....they're selling the university to someone, who would you rather see running an athletic team...someone who looks the part and can get out of his chair without the aid of a handicap rails you see in bathroom stalls or someone who at any sitting could be eating his 17th meatball and falls over dead......not wishing it on anyone either, actually i was cheering for KU against Missouri and then Missouri against Oklahoma, i thought it would be awesome to have two North teams in the BCS.....that would speak to the level of ball happening in our division.....

That leaves ferentz, IMO this deal will be done before Friday....to offset the ugliness of the miles situation....watch....

I'd have remembered the Chinook, pretty sure it wasn't Chinook

Cannot for the life of me though think of what the name of this helicopter is

However after a little more time wasting, it appears it was a Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane.

Rather appropriately named...

Thank you for playing Warder06 and mjlane, better luck next time

I think this one would fit maybe half of a leg for Mangina...he would barely have any room for his Arby's also.

Not saying the Chinook isn't a good helicpoter, I was saying it was not the one used to remove the Statue of Freedom (the statue on top of the Capital) for restoration. Actually I was a bit suprised as a little kid, because to me there was only one heavy lift helicopter.

Still pretty much the only one in my mind, but I'm not exactly in the helicopter business

Nice video by the way
