AMES, Iowa – Due to heavy rain and forecasted weather conditions in the Ames area, the Iowa State Athletics Department has announced all general public grass lots will be closed for Saturday's game against Kansas (Oct. 14). Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT.
The Athletics Department has reached out to CyRide to assist in running additional routes for those parking on or near campus. CyRide route information is located here.
There will be no general public parking available in the Hilton Coliseum and Scheman (C-1, C-2, B-1 and B-2) lots. This space will be reserved for overflow parking from G7.
At this time a portion of G7 remains open, but as the conditions of the lot change, it may become fully closed. Overflow G7 parking will be directed to the paved lots at Vet Med and Hilton Coliseum.
All other donor and ADA paved lots will operate as normal.
Because the parking lot conditions can change, fans should check Cyclones.com (click here for the Gameday Central link) or the department's various social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) for the latest information.
