As far as gaming goes I would agree with him, obviously with the recent news, PS3 wins the next-gen dvd game between the two, but I want a console that plays good games, and plays them well. If I want to watch movies I'll get a dvd/blu-ray/hddvd player.

If anyone is thinking about buying madden 08, i'd recomend renting before you buy. I bought it at the same time as my ps3 and the controls are totally different and i just don't know yet if i like it or not. anyone else disapointed with it as well?

The Xbox 360 has been out for a year longer so therefore it has more games available. The truth is that there are plenty of great games out for the PS3. Just a few:

Ninja Gaiden Sigma
Rock Band
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Unreal Tournament III
Resistance: Fall of Man
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction


On top of these titles there are some that are coming out that will be amazing and some will be exclusive.

GT 5 --This alone will be worth the price of admission
Devil May Cry 4
Killzone 2
LittleBigPlanet
Grand Theft Auto IV
Metal Gear Solid 4


I don't know about you but I buy about 3-4 games per year and play them until my fingers bleed.


Nothing wrong with the Xbox 360. Just pointing out that the PS3 has some good games.

On a side note, I don't think we even want to talk about reliability. When they give a console a nickname like "Red ring of death"......well you know.
