4th slide or so shows the expanded press box with double decked SEZ. Yes please. I'm also intrigued by the catwalks to the top of the concessions on the concourses. Wonder what that is for?

Professional means someone paid for the good or service provided. So no, those are not professional renderings.

Love the expanded press box!!! Not a fan of the options showing the discontinuation of bleachers of the upper deck in the SEZ. I want a true continous bowl both upper and lower decks!

The cat walks lead into nothing, anyone notice that? It looks like it leads into the back of the concrete stairs

The cost to do so would be absolutely astronomical. Part of the reason it's so expensive already is just to do so with the lower deck. The upper deck would be even more ridiculous.

There are some professional D & D (design and development) drawings out there by RDG. I would expect that when the day comes, it will be what you see. Somebody undoubtedly has a link to them.

Hi All -

I'm the creator of the renderings of Jack Trice. These renderings were done over 6 years ago while I worked for a firm that was doing some design work for ISU. They were studies showing what an expanded and full bowl might look like down-the-line and were by no means thought to be realistic renderings to be implemented immediately. The walkway renderings were a fun study to see if we could create little party patios using some existing infrastructure. I've pulled everything from my site (craftedaction.com) since I don't want their being any confusion about what is real or fake.

What I can tell you is that the athletic department had (and I believe, still has) big aspirations and would obviously love to be able to complete the bowl. It's encouraging to know that Pollard and the rest of his team are set on making ISU a top notch program and not just staying "as-is." As a young architect at the time I never worked directly with him but heard nothing but great things about his vision for the program.

If you'd like to see the renderings, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. I still do design but also run a company called Zokos that helps people crowd-fund tailgates. Everybody chips in ahead of time so the host doesn't get stuck paying for everything and doesn't have to worry about awkwardly collecting cash.

Aw, had to see this thread when the creator pulled down the images. Real or not, wish I could have seen what they looked like.

Looks like all you have to do is shoot him an e-mail to see what they looked like...
