Why doesn't ISU get this correct. Home team is on side of press box, opposite the chains. Get chains out of way, Plus we cross with opposing team coming on to field. Simple solutions, all the losing was done on that side of the field, let the visitors have it.

The new press box will probably be built on the other side. Problem solved.

I would be pretty ****** if they switched it. I enjoy yelling at opposing players quite a bit.

I was told back in the day someone had the idea the Cyclones would be nice and warm in the afternoon sun on those cold late-fall afternoons, while their opponents cowered in the chill of the shadow of the west stands.

simple solution - people worried about this should simply watch the game in a mirror - that'll fix everything.

Plus later afternoon or evening games early on, coaches are looking into the sun. Makes no sense that the home team is on the east side. Even though I sit on the east side, I am all in favor of the switch.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say if the coaches and/or admin thought this was a problem - they'd change it.

Translated - they don't find it to be a problem

They addressed this before they started using the new locker room and tunnel. Rhoads likes the east side. Something was mentioned about late fall sun, shade and a chill in the air. They also mentioned that something like 20-30% (don't recall the exact number) of stadiums have teams crossing paths.

For marketing the ISU brand, we are opposite the press box because the main TV cameras are in, on, or around the press box and our school administration (not sure if it started with Pollard or before him) wants the ISU team and fans in the background of every shot. They like the sea of Cardinal!!!

Instead of filling the bowl why dont we build up to actually increase capacity. We'll sell out no matter how many seats we have
