Got my copy. Haven't had too much chance to really dig into it, but he doesn't expect much more from ISU than any of the other prognostcators.

Any more details than that? I respect Phil, but don't buy his magazine anymore because half of it is him bragging about how well he did on last year's predictions.

That's why I quit buying it, along with the space he wastes talking about rankings for players who had graduated.

I dunno, he did a pretty good job predicting ISU's success and downplaying Nebraska for the 2004 season when no one else would. I've found that his predictions are usually pretty accurate, and while he was predicting a down season for us this year, he does a good job owning up to his mistakes. I actually like his abundance of information, and I actually feel like he knows all the FBS teams really well -- better than most publications.

I love his magazine for a couple of reasons:

a) He makes crazy picks that usually come true. Picked last years National Champ (Auburn) to finish 6th in the SEC West.
b) Just a Ton of Information.

==>I'm excited to see how far ISU moves up his Power Ranking at the end of Book. ISU has done a much better job on OFF and DEF Statistics. I would expect us to move from 9th to 6th or 7th in the Big 12.

This is a great Magazine compared to other mags like Athelon that put ZERO thought in there Pre Season Picks.
