5.7 mil/year for six years. No details about incentives or bonuses for playoff appearances and such, but I'm sure there's something in there. The new deal places him among the five highest paid coaches in college football.

Too much too soon IMO. What happens if/when his OC Moorhead leaves for a HC job after this year? Moorhead and Toledo's Jason Candle will be the two hottest coaches around after this season.

I think I agree. Seems like a lot, but they might just be looking at his incoming class and figuring he's worth it. I don't know. I'm with CW in wanting to see how they react to being the hunted. But it's a good problem to have. I hope Pollard has to overpay Campbell in order to keep him around when he wins 9 games in 2018
