Does G7 ever sell out ? Be interesting where they Put people when it’s closed due to rain. Vet med can’t hold them all.

In previous years, on rain days, they would require a G-7 pass to get into B1 and B2 which are usually public lots.

I don't know if they've ever had enough demand to sell it out, but I believe they do have a max number they would sell.

I really enjoyed vet med last year when G7 was closed, but nothing compared to G7.

Cardinal 622 of 1348 and got bumped from C3 to C1-C2(I guess they're a combined lot) this year. Was in a meeting so my wife took care of it so I didn't see how many were left in the paved lots.

Edit: She said she didn't look closely, but at least over half were still available at 10:15am.

I just picked G6. About 25 left. C1 and C2 also still available, but I didn't look to see how many were left.

I am #691 Cardinal level.

It looks like our group is going to get bumped out of G6 this year.

Can you park anywhere you want in G7 or do they direct you into a parking stall? I'm curious because our group of 3 families usually arrives at different times (youth sport conflicts) and we still want to park together.

If there are lot attendants, they will direct you. Some people arrive very early and park on the outer edges and that may be your best bet for parking together.

So I just need less than 400 people to choose before 10 AM...
Our group should have went that route as well. One person in my group was able to get G6 at 1:15 and said there were 35 left, but I wasn't able to get a G6 at 3:15. I ended up getting a G7, and the third group and our party will do that, too.

I remember the good old days when a friend loaned me his season parking pass for C5 and I printed up a batch on the color printer and gave them to my friends so we could all tailgate together. These were just hung on the rearview mirror and looked legit when you pulled in.

Oh - the good old days when you prevented people from parking in spaces they paid for? Nice.

Just did my parking selection. Still plenty available in C1/C2.
One question: it looks like C1 and C2 are grouped together, so does that mean that both lots are “first come, first served”?

That was my interpretation as well.
Just for reference, I'm #1114/1343 in Cardinal and there were well over 200 spots left.

I would think any new donor at the Cardinal level would be able to get a spot around Hilton. $250 donors are not eligible for those spots.

You will park in C1/C2 the same as any of the other paved lots. I believe G7 may be the only lot where parking is more "directed."

Folks at $250 can only park in G7--if that space has any available. I assume in a year or so it will take at least $500 to park anywhere and maybe $1000 to park on any pavement.

What if I really wish to park in G1? Where on earth is G1?

They really need to re-do the lot naming conventions for 2020 seasons. I know things have expanded quite a bit over the years, but the lot naming has now far surpassed the threshold of familiar vs logical ordering of lot names.
