Anyone know of a place that I can rent paintball equipment (by the day, hour, ect...)
Is that possible anywhere? I see there is a very low-cost paintball course up by Waterloo where most of my family is, but my parents have a timber that would be very fun to shoot each other in and we thought that would make a good Christmas gift if its possible to rent the equipment.

Keep your eyes open. I think that you could actually buy quite a bit of the stuff cheaper than you think. With its spreading popularity, prices have come down quite a bit in the last couple years.

I know there is a big paintballer on this board, hopefully he can inform you of what some prices would be.

If you are anywhere near a Cabela's, Scheels, or store like that, they should have a great selection of stuff.

I have a Tippman 98 Custom, stock. It's a solid gun, lot's of upgrades available. I wish I had more time (and money) to play.... I haven't used it in probably a couple of years. I think you can buy them in stores now for around $150-160 in a kit with a mask and CO2 tank.

Most of the places I've looked at are $25-$35 for 500 rounds or 5 hours. Just looking to have a fun afternoon paintballing. Probably not going to turn into a hobby where I'll want to spend in the 100's.
My parents have a timber that would be fun to play in, but if we can't rent equipment, we'll go somewhere.
Has anyone seen the field in Greene? Looks Awesome!
