They must have been shining the sun in our receivers' eyes. That would explain all of the drops. :jimlad:

They were held up between the coaches making hand signals on the sidelines and the press box so that coaches in the press box can't see the signals. Baylor did the same thing earlier in the year, just without silver coating on the back sides of the signs.

I came to two conclusions:

1. The mirrors somehow magnified the hand signals for the players to clearly see on the field.
2. The mirrors prevented the booth from seeing the hand signals. And the mirrors just added to more BS confusion if you're Iowa State. (Several times those mirrors reflected sunlight at me).

Based on those two conclusions, all I have to say is **** OU.

Yeah...we had them shined directly in our faces for the better part of two minutes...they weren't using them. The two guys holding them just had them sitting on the ground, resting against their legs. They weren't terribly careful about where they were pointed. Total BS as far as I'm concerned.
