I know this is about as far-removed from ISU sports as possible, and it reminds me of some of the exercises we used to do to pass time in 7th grade TAG class, but I thought this was kind of interesting:

The "normal" way to see the picture rotate is counter-clockwise. I personally saw it clockwise, and it took me a while to get it to go backwards. Anyone else?

Clockwise as well.

Once I got there - that's a "shapely" siloutte.

I see what you mean about getting it to go the other way. Took a while for me as well And for a little bit, got kinda stuck in a pendulum motion (back and forth)

LOL - geez, you and my husband! He wanted to notice if it meant that he was left- or right-brained when he noticed first that she was anatomically gifted... and cold.

I'm glad to know other people are representing clockwise!! I was the only one at work who DIDN'T see it counter-clockwise! I couldn't even convince them that it went that way!

I stared at her shadow to get it to go the other way. It took me about three minutes of staring straight at it before I could get it, though!

When I first looked she was going one way, then I read it and after that she went the other way. So I have no idea.

I think the left one is bigger....wait...oh....it's which way is she spinning. I thought I was suppose do something else.

That's fun...it's weird making her spin in the opposite directions.

What type of work do you do? Is it something that would necessarily be left-brained?

It's funny - I'm actually a phone IT tech for a software company, so it's considered very left-brained. I think it's also pretty conceptual in the way the end-user needs to have things explained to them, so I think there are elements of both. How about you guys?

whats even more amazing is to open the link minimize the browser, then wait a few seconds, then open the link in a 2nd browser. then put them side by side, and u can get them spinning both ways for a few seconds, then it gets all crazy looking. but whats going on in the picture is simple, this
is a silhouette, 2d not 3d, so the fact is that the brain cant tell if a silhouette is facing forwards or backwards at any givenpoint. its kinda the same principle as shadow puppets

This is almost irritating because every time I click back to it the direction changes.

Film Business, it could probably fall under either one. It spun clockwise when I first saw it then made her switch. I opened up the page again and it was spinning counter clockwise for me.

What is really weird, open up the same page on two different web pages. Put them side by side. What do you see? I can get her to spin both ways differently and there are these squiggly lines that show up. Check it out.

Kudos to you guys for even thinking of doing that side-by-side thing. I thought I had a headache before...
