Welcome back to “On That Note,” a weekly music exploration hosted by @MeanDean, @CycloneRulzzz and me, cyclones500.

This week, the focus is: Songs with one-word titles.

We’re extremely strict with this one.
1. Songs titles than involve ANY additional word (even a/an/the adjective) are not allowed. (“The End” or “The Reflex,” as random examples, are not allowed).
2. Titles with (parentheses) do not count, even if the main title is one word (in cases when that applies).
3. This is for song titles only. Multi-word songs by one-word band names are off-limits.

Allowed within the framework: A person’s name; numbers (spelled out or in numeric form) and abbreviations.
Let's go!

--> One appeal of the first song, for me: Tandem vocals/harmonizing by Stipe & Mills on the verses, it’s almost like the band did the music, then those two each wrote a “lead vocal” separately, based on separate interpretation. I’m sure that isn’t what actually happened, but it sounds like it.
