Now every morning just before breakfast
I don't want no coffee or tea
Just me and my good buddy Weiser
That's all I ever need
'Cause I drink alone, yeah
With nobody else
Yeah, you know when I drink alone
I prefer to be by myself
Yeah, the other night I laid sleeping
And I woke from a terrible dream
So I caught up my pal Jack Daniel's
And his partner Jimmy Beam

She's got cruise control, ABS & EFI, I keep her Michelins at 32 psi
Hey, little minivan, we're goin' to the children's museum
On icy mornings when I'm feeling my age,
I'm protected and warm in my steel cage
Her climate control really pumps out the heat,
And her dual air bags just can't be beat
She's rated real high by Consumer Reports
And her two front seats have got lumbar support
I've got the good driver rate and comprehensive insurance,
And she's loaded with electronic theft deterrents
Step away from the car, step away from the car
Step away from the car, step away from the car
We're a wild and rowdy bunch when you pass us by
Bobby's buggin' baby sister and makin' her cry
If I have to pull over someone's gonna pay
And it was fun, fun, fun, till Bobby took her teether away
(fun, fun, fun, fun)
Hey, little minivan, we're goin' to the pediatrician
Now the wife and I hardly ever date
'cause our baby sitter has to be home by 8
We hurry through dinner & go out and park,
with the fold-down seats we can nap till dark
I dream of Barracudas and souped-up Vettes,
Crazy games of chicken and drag race bets,
Then she wakes me up and says,
"Honey, don't be sad, our van's the classic Woody you never had."

Barbara Mandrell - "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool". The lyrics mention "I remember wearin' straight leg Levi's" and "putting peanuts in my Coke." This is the 'live' album recording featuring George Jones (who was uncredited in the single). "I Was Country" hit #1 on July 4, 1981, becoming Mandrell's 4th number one country song in Billboard magazine and 6th number one in Cashbox magazine.

Barbara Mandrell - "There's No Love in Tennessee". The lyrics mention "they still make Jack Daniels in Lynchburg." This song was released as a single from her 1985 Greatest Hits album for MCA. It peaked at #7 on Billboard's Country Singles chart. She performed the song at the Music City News Country Awards show in her first stage appearance since the auto accident that took the life of the driver who hit her head-on ten months prior. Minutes later, she was awarded the fan-voted Living Legend Award honoring those in country music 25 years or more (it was her 25th anniversary as she began performing professionally at age 11). The performance begins at the 2:30 mark.
