It's Tuesday so time for another On That Note.

This week we are looking for songs (titles, lyrics or both) that mention the telephone (or phone) or contain lyrics that simulate one or both sides of a telephone conversation.

The word "call" will be allowed AS LONG AS IT IS CLEAR FROM THE CONTEXT OF THE SONG, that the word is used to refer to a phone call.

Last week's OTN was Night of the Vampire - It can be found here: https://cyclonefanatic.com/forum/threads/on-that-note-night-of-the-vampire.281441/

Your weekly hosts for OTN are @cyclones500, @CycloneRulzzz and me.

My First 5

"In a noisy bar in Avalon I tried to call you."

"She's the only one who'd phone me here from Memphis, Tennessee."

"If I should call you up, invest a dime."

"But she'll just hear that phone keep on ringing, Off the wall"

If you come to visit, you'll be bored to tears
We haven't even paid the phone bill in 300 years
But we ain't really quaint, so please don't point and stare
We're just technologically impaired
There's no phone, no lights, no motorcar
Not a single luxury

He called her on the road
From a lonely cold hotel room
Just to hear her say, I love you one more time
But when he heard the sound
Of the kids laughing in the background
He had to wipe away a tear from his eye
A little voice came on the phone
Said, "Daddy, when you coming home?"
